The Journey Begins

Well, Hi!

Can I just say, 2018 has been A YEAR, ok? We got married, moved overseas, and found out that we are expecting: mind = blown. To understand the bulk of it, we have got to take it back a little bit, you have so much to catch up on.

15 years ago, when I was a military brat growing up in Fort Hood, TX, I met this other kid in a similar situation:

  • small town
  • military background
  • lived right up the street from me

We went to high school together, dated, lived separate lives, then in our late twenties: reconnected.

Fast forward to now. Like. Right now.

I’m in my home office, 35 weeks pregnant with our first child stretching–all shoulders and elbows–into my abdomen as we await his arrival. Oh, and we’re in England; a long ways away from Texas.

Did I mention I married the kid in the aforementioned paragraph?

No? WELP. I did. We’re doing life together. We don’t have all the answers and have little to no idea how to do what we’ve been tasked with, but he makes me feel like we could take on the entire world and come out on the other side unscathed albeit rattled. He is my person! Suffice it to say: 2018 was a great year!

About Me

At my baby shower thrown by the military wives club here in England!

So now that you’re all caught up…hello! My name is Eugenia. I’m a social media coordinator, flight attendant, part-time student, and a 31 year old first time Mommy to a little boy due October 1st.

I’m currently on maternity leave (hallelujah!) from my flight attendant job, am pursuing my Marketing degree at Penn State, and I run two (three including AHWTM) lifestyle social media accounts, oh–and I’m growing a human! Multi-tasking: amiright?!

My interests include laughing uncontrollably, traveling, live music, social media, and discovering new gadgets.

About the Hubs

My husband is my high school sweetheart, devoted son/brother, and a active-duty military member which is what brought us to the English isle.

He is easily the hardest worker I know! His interests include working out, discovering new music, traveling, and eating all the yummy foods (on the weekends, of course)!

On a mini-baby moon in Paris with my MIL and husband!
